This workshop will cover some of the
most pressing concerns nurses face in the realm of food,
including personal wellness and communicating food and
nutrition information with patients. The workshop will
present the scientific foundations of the health and
ecological impacts associated with the industrialized
food system, and strategies for improving food in their
hospitals, communities, and in the broader policy arena.
