FoodMed Joins forces with CleanMed

In 2013, the FoodMed Conference will join forces with CleanMed in Boston, Massachusetts, April 24-26, combining the premier conference on health and sustainability in hospital food service with the premier national environmental conference for leaders in healthcare sustainability. CleanMed 2013 will offer a comprehensive Healthy Food in Health Care track which will include workshops, tours and sessions devoted to innovative strategies and best practices for building a healthy and sustainable hospital food service. Also at CleanMed 2013, don't miss the 2nd Healthy Food in Health Care Award Program!

This merger creates a wonderful opportunity for leaders from all areas of hospital operations to learn together and return to their facilities with a shared mission to lead on health care sustainability and a preventive health agenda.

Oran Hesterman will speak at FoodMed 2011 on the afternoon of October 19. Oran is Founder, President and CEO of Fair Food Network and author of FAIR FOOD: Growing A Healthy Sustainable Food System for All.
